MVNU’s SonFest 2018 Lineup Announced
MOUNT VERNON, Ohio — SonFest, Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s annual outdoor Christian music festival, will take place on Saturday, September 22, from 1-9 p.m. in The Grove at the MVNU campus. Lecrae will headline the event with numerous other bands on two stages throughout the day.

Lecrae is a two-time GRAMMY Award-winning hip-hop artist whose 2014 album, Anomaly, debuted at number one on the Billboard Top 200, Rap, Digital, Christian, Gospel, and Independent charts. His seven studio albums and mixtapes have sold more than 1.9 million copies and he has co-headlined some of the best-selling tours in the U.S., according to Pollstar.
Lecrae’s call for redemption through positive change has placed him at the forefront of causes close to his heart. Referring to himself as a “social anthropologist,” Lecrae seeks the most authentic connection possible with fans around the world who embrace his music. Lecrae resides in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife and three children.
Ticket prices include general admission early bird rates, $19; general admission at the gate, $30; and groups of 10+ in advance, $20.
Tickets can be purchased online by visiting iTickets.com and searching for “SonFest 2018.” Tickets are also available at local retailers listed at sonfest.mvnu.edu.
The all-day event will also include free outdoor activities, festival food, and giveaways. SonFest is held rain or shine. Artists and schedule are subject to change.
